How safe is paintball compared to other sports?

NEISS - The National Injury Information Clearinghouse ofthe U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in Washington D. C.has provided injury estimates through use of the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System.
In the number of estimated injuries per 1,000 participants, paintball had the LEAST NUMBER OF INJURIES of all the listed sports. The number of injuries for paintball is less by far than bowling, tennis, archery, basketball, and many other sports.
The government report warns: "CAUTION. NEISS data and estimates are based on injuries treated in hospital emergency rooms that patients say are related to products. Therefore it is incorrect, when using NEISS data, to say the injuries were caused by the product." That means that the paintball total injuries include all types of injuries, and would include sprained ankles, cuts, heat exhaustion, etc., on and off the playing field, at organized play sites or otherwise,as well as any eye injuries. The estimated figures are calculated using data froma sample of hospitals in the U. S. and its territories. (APG JAN. 2001)

Infidelz MPOC 4th leg - 1st runner up

Yes , its true! we got the 2nd spot for division 4 for MPOC 4th leg. Earlier in the preliminaries we had a minor setback with a couple of losses but later in the day we managed to pull ourselves together (with a bit of help from Sani from Xfox =p) and got a spot into the finals. However Spunky Militia proved to be the better team on Sunday.

Also a BIG THANKS to our sponsor Werdna Hol Sportz (only sponsor as a matter of fact) ,super pit crew Sani(not the Sani from Xfox) , teams good luck charm Rizka, as well as Yoon Kit & Henry fm Feva Division for training with us week prior to tournament.

Virtue is developing a new Personal Sponsorship Program

Article taken fm here

From Virtue Paintball: We want to sponsor up to 10 non-pro paintball players as part of a new future sponsorship program that highlights knowledgable, helpful paintball players. This program is -only- available for non-pro players and is designed to give something back to 10 awesome paintball players who go above and beyond in their desire to help other players and promote the sport of paintball. If you are the right match please fill out the application, or if you know someone who should apply, please refer them!
This is a real sponsorship program on par to what we offer many pro players, not just a “discount” offer.
We are looking for those outstanding, dedicated paintball players who constantly share their time and talents to help paintball players. Virtue would like to work with these players and support them, so they can continue to be a positive influence in the sport.
The players we select for this program will have the opportunity to be featured in future Virtue press releases, ads and/or videos. If you are interested, please fill out the following application by clicking this link. And keep in mind with the application there is no “right” answer to the following questions so don’t try to pick the answer you “think” we’re looking for. We actually want a diversity of thought, players, experience, etc. Be honest in your responses!
Virtue will be accepting and reviewing applications for the next 4 weeks. Successful applicants will be notified by email. Due to the likely high volume of requests please do not call or email us regarding your application. Thanks!
